Long Term Goal

     International Children's Aid is in the process of establishing The Food Security Project which will create a Sustainable Farm Families Agricultural Program, an HIV Prevention/ Education Project , and a Marketable Skills Project. These programs will be aimed at improving the  living conditions, education, health care and economic viability for young men,  women and orphaned children in Haiti. This goal will be accomplished by teaching families and institutions working with orphaned children to grow  food for their own use, and future local distribution.
  The success of these projects will not only enable Haitian families to ensure their own basic survival, but will allow them to earn the funds necessary to provide crucial health care, education, nutrition and housing.

Short Term Goal

  Currently we are supporting an Artisan Skill Center in Jacmel, Haiti,  Seeds of Hope agricultural Project and the Youth Development Center in Port au Prince,Haiti.  It is our intent to sustain these projects and establish more resources to secure a foundation for future growth.
